I’ve spent a lot of my time in my garden now that I am no longer working. It has taught me a lot, and has helped me along my recovery.

I have the time to notice the new growth. Tend to the weeds and slowly see the effects of the little pruning that I do. It has taught me that you can’t force things to look a certain way, you just have to guide them and maybe you can help and direct things, but its ultimately up to nature. The plant isn’t wrong for growing in a certain direction, but you can help it survive by clearing a space for it to grow and encourage it.

I like to take walks and notice how the birds, and butterflies and other living creatures interact with one another and their surroundings. It gives me a peaceful place to be alone with my thoughts.
