I haven’t been on a photo walk in a while. Like where you purposefully just go out to take photos…of…things..and patterns or colors? or whatever it was that I wanted to take a picture of. But in the last few weeks I’ve been involved with a photo mentorship and we’ve gone out on a couple of photo walks. At first I didn’t know what to take a picture of, no one was telling me what to shoot or there wasn’t some certain thing I wanted to document.
At first I was just shooting things to show what I meant by depth of field, aperture and shutter speed. You know the geeky photography stuff.
And then I started looking around and often times looking up,
I started to see patterns and splashes of color and spots of light,
Sometimes it’s cool to just go out and look around.
